Eoligarry ( Gaelic : Eòlaigearraidh ) is a small scattered settlement on the Scottish Hebridean island of Barra . It is located on the Eoligarry peninsula in the north of Barra near the hill Ben Eoligarry , the highest point on the peninsula at 102 m.
Eoligarry has a school and pier on the east coast that was once served by the ferry to Eriskay . Barra Airport is about two kilometers southwest . Castlebay , the main town on the island, is about nine kilometers to the southwest.
