Epsiprantel is a drug from the group of piperazine derivatives used in veterinary medicine , which is used as an antiparasitic against tapeworms . The mechanism of action is unknown, presumably it works in a similar way to praziquantel . In contrast to this, epsiprantel is hardly absorbed.
