Erdal Çelik (born January 1, 1988 in Gaziantep ) is a former German - Turkish soccer player .
Career
Erdal Çelik started his career in TuS Schmidt's youth team and then moved to Bayer 04 Leverkusen . Here he won the German A-Juniors Championship in 2007 . Then he played one season for the second team of Alemannia Aachen . After six months without a club, he went back to Leverkusen and played in the second team. In January 2011 Çelik moved to the third division Rot Weiss Ahlen .
On June 30, the Turkish second division side Bucaspor announced the signing of Çelik. After a year he moved to the Azerbaijani first division team Sumqayıt PFK , but did not last long there. After only two games, he moved back to Germany in September and joined the regional division FC 08 Homburg . In the summer of 2013, Celik moved to league competitor Wormatia Worms for a year , before joining the national league club VfL 08 Vichttal in February 2015 after a few months without a club. With the club, he rose to the Middle Rhine League in 2017 . In February 2018, various knee problems forced him to end his career.
