Erdem Arat (* 1946 ) is a former Turkish football - goalkeeper .

Career

Arat began his career in the 1963/64 season with Çukurova İdman Yurdu . In this season he came to five league games and moved to Galatasaray Istanbul in the following season . At Galatasaray, the young goalkeeper was No. 3 behind Bülent Gürbüz and Turgay Şeren and came to three league games, he also won the Turkish Football Cup. The 1965/66 season Arat spent at Şekerspor and then went to Adanaspor . At Adanaspor he was a regular goalkeeper from the 1967/68 season.

In 1970 Erdem Arat moved to Karşıyaka SK . With Karşıyaka he was second division champion, but he was himself again 3rd goalkeeper behind Günay Üçer and Ekrem Güçsav . At Karşıyaka Arat played until the end of the 1971/72 season. He moved to Adana Demirspor and was second division champion for the second time.

Arat ended his career after the 1976/77 season at Adanaspor.
