Erhard Schmidt (soccer player, 1937)
Erhard Schmidt (born January 23, 1937 ; died March 20, 2006 in Stralsund ) was a German football player and coach .
Erhard Schmidt played from 1967 to 1969 in the midfield of the army sports association ASG Vorwärts Stralsund . From 1972 to 1983 he coached the club's first men's team. During this time he managed with the Stralsund club promotion to the top division of the GDR , the Oberliga , and looked after the team in the Oberliga season 1974/75 . From 1990 to 1991 he was assistant coach for the TSV 1860 Stralsund team .
