Eric Jenkinson

Eric Jenkinson OBE CVO (born March 13, 1950 ) is a British diplomat .

Life

Eric Jenkinson was sent to the West African Gambia by the Blair government in 2002 as British High Commissioner , replacing John G. Perrott . His term of office in Gambia ended in 2006, after which he was sent as High Commissioner to Trinidad and Tobago to succeed Ronald P. Nash . Philip Sinkinson was his successor in Gambia. Jenkinson was replaced in May 2011, his successor in Trinidad and Tobago was Arthur G. Snell .

  • 2009: Commander of Royal Victorian Order (CVO)

family

Philip Sinkinson is the son of Horace and Bertha Jenkinson. He married Máire Donnelly in 2004 and has two sons.
