Eric John Eagles Swayne
Sir Eric John Eagles Swayne KCMG CB CBE (born May 14, 1863 in Darmstadt ; † September 9, 1929 ) was a British officer with the rank of Brigadier-General and as colonial administrator from August 13, 1906 to May 9, 1913, Governor of British Honduras .
Eric John Eagles Swayne was the fourth child of Priest George Carless Swayne with his wife Margaret Sarah Eagles. He married Yda Laura Peach in Kensington in April 1908 .
In 1910 he was raised to the nobility as Knight Commander of the Order of St Michael and St George and has since had the addition of "Sir" to his name.
