Eric Lanz

Eric Lanz (* 1962 in Biel ) is a Swiss artist and professor at the Saar College of Fine Arts .

Life

Lanz studied from 1981 to 1986 at the École Supérieure d'Arts Visuels in Geneva and from 1986 to 1988 with Nam June Paik at the Düsseldorf Art Academy . He was a lecturer for media art at the Karlsruhe University of Design (1998–2005) and for new media at the Academy of Fine Arts Mainz (2006–2010). In 2010 he was appointed professor for video and artistic photography at the HBK Saar. His subject area includes video works, installations and photo works.
