Eric XL Singleton (born November 6, 1968 in New York City ; actually Eric Newkirt Singleton ) is an American rapper who has participated in various productions of the US dance floor area.
Live and act
Singleton has worked with various music producers since 1994 , but initially only for artists unknown in Germany such as Face II Face, Deep Down or Cool Cut.
He gained fame mainly through his appearances as a rapper for Modern Talking . There he was first heard in 1998 on the comeback version of You're My Heart, You're My Soul . In the following years he could be heard on every single as a rapper, the last time on Last Exit to Brooklyn in 2001. In 2000, Sexy Girl , a feature with Shaggy, was also released .
After an argument with Modern Talking regarding his solo career, he split from the group and moved back to the US, Georgia. In 2006 "XLarge", as it is called by fans, came back to Germany. Since then he has been working on his solo career again.
