Erica Lindgren (born Schoenberg ; born March 25, 1978 in Akron , Ohio ) is a professional American blackjack and poker player . She is nicknamed Blackjack Babe and Poker Babe .

Life

Lindgren used to work as a model , personal trainer and was a professional volleyball player . She learned to play blackjack from a member of the MIT blackjack team. She took part in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) and the World Series of Blackjack (WSOB) several times .

Lindgren has cashed seven times on the World Poker Tour (WPT). She was also seen at the WPT 2006 Legends of Poker in Los Angeles on Ladies Night with Jennifer Tilly and four other players. She made the money 18 times at the WSOP. Her biggest achievement was the final table in the $ 1,500 no-limit hold'em in 2007 , where she finished third for $ 261,646 in prize money . In 2007, Lindgren won the $ 2,500 No Limit Hold'em Mandalay Bay Poker Championship for $ 105,875.

Lindgren also took part in the Ultimate Blackjack Tour (UBT), which was televised on CBS for ten weeks . She was also under contract with the online poker site Full Tilt Poker . Your total poker tournament winnings are in excess of $ 850,000.

Lindgren was the partner of high stakes poker player David Benyamine . In late May 2011 she married the poker player Erick Lindgren and took his last name. The marriage, which resulted in a child, was divorced in 2014.
