Erich Käding

Erich Käding , sometimes also called Erich Kaeding , (born October 23, 1912 in Hamburg ; † unknown) was a German actor , radio play speaker and singer .

Life

After graduating from primary school, Käding received a scholarship to study the violin at the German Conservatory in Hamburg. In 1931 he joined the Reichswehr , where he was trained as a pilot and paratrooper .

In 1949 Käding played the title role in the first post-war musical in Germany. In 1964 he also took up singing studies at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater on a scholarship .

As an actor, he played various roles in television productions such as Miss Molly Mill , The case from next door , Aktenzeichen XY… unsolved , Captain Bay-Bay , Pinkerton's heirs , Emm like Meikel and The old Fritz and his judges .

In addition, Käding worked extensively as a radio play speaker. Above all , he lent his voice to characters by Karl May for various, often reissued radio play productions. He spoke the "Maki-Motek" in Old Surehand , the "Manach el-Barsha" in Schut and the "Baumann bear hunter" and his opponent, the "Chief Heavy Moccasin", in Unter Vultures .

Käding also worked as an actor for advertising photos. For example, he presented the title figure of Spiegel No. 30 from 1976 on the subject of Dangerous Years. Midlife crisis .
