Erich Sundermann

Erich Sundermann (born July 10, 1908 in Stuttgart , † September 5, 1993 in Braunschweig ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Life

After attending the public school and the secondary school in Stuttgart, Sundermann was trained as a painter in order to then work in this profession. On May 1, 1928, Sundermann joined the NSDAP. He also became a member of the Sturmabteilung (SA).

In 1931 Sundermann became the leader of the Stuttgart Hitler Youth (HJ). In 1933 he became head of department 20 (Württemberg) of the HJ and in June 1934 area leader of the HJ area Württemberg. In April 1942 he was appointed Obergebietsführer of the HJ.

From March 1936 until the end of the Nazi regime in spring 1945, Sundermann was a member of the National Socialist Reichstag as a representative of constituency 31 (Württemberg) . He was also the holder of the Golden Party Badge . During the Second World War , Sundermann did military service in the western campaign in 1940.
