Erik Kynard
Erik Kynard Jr. (born February 3, 1991 in Toledo , Ohio ) is an American high jumper .
As a student at Kansas State University , he became NCAA champions in 2011 and 2012 .
At the 2011 World Athletics Championships in Daegu, he was eliminated from the qualification. In 2012 he finished second in the US eliminations for the London Olympics , where he won the silver medal.
The following year he was US champion and fifth at the 2013 World Cup in Moscow.
