Erik Wintersberger

Erik Wintersberger (born September 10, 1907 in Vienna as Erik Jellinek; † March 23, 2005 in Vienna) was an Austrian manager , political scientist and person in the Austrian commercial cooperative system .

From 1964 to 1968 he was a member of the board and from 1968 to 1973 chairman of the board and lawyer of the Austrian cooperative association .

Education and professional activity

Wintersberger studied at the Vienna University of Technology and the University of Vienna . He graduated with a Doctor of Doctor Rerum politicarum and began his career as an officer in the Austrian Control Bank for Industry and Commerce . He then held leading positions in various Austrian industrial companies.

Functions in the cooperative system

In 1962 he came to the Austrian Cooperative Association, where from 1964 he was a member of the board responsible for looking after the commercial goods and service cooperatives. From 1968 to 1973 he acted as association attorney and chairman of the association's board.
