Erika Vogel
Erika Vogel (born October 18, 1907 in Weimar as Erika Loeser , † October 1, 1998 in Munich ) was a German journalist .
Vogel attended school in Weimar, where she graduated from a secondary school in 1927. This was followed by a traineeship at the Coburger Tageblatt and various professional activities. Then she trained as a nurse's assistant and hospital specialist, in this profession she then worked in Bromberg . From 1933 on she was arrested several times for political reasons until she was allowed to return to Fürth in 1944 . In 1946 she became camp welfare officer in the Munich-Allach II refugee camp , and a year later women secretary in the Bavarian Trade Union Federation , which she resigned for health reasons. Also in 1947 she became a member of the Bavarian Senate , to which she belonged until 1953.
Vogel married the gardening architect Wolf Vogel in 1930, from whom they divorced in 1939.
