Erika Zlocha

Erika Zlocha (born April 8, 1939 in Vienna ) is a former Austrian actress and dancer .

Live and act

Erika Zlocha was born in Vienna on April 8, 1939 and was trained as a ballet dancer by Adele Krausenecker and Risa Dirtl at the ballet school of the Vienna State Opera from 1947 . In her private life she received lessons from Willy Fränzl and was also trained abroad, especially at Matilda Felixowna Kschessinskaja's ballet school in Paris . In 1953 she made it into the corps of the Vienna State Opera Ballet and made her debut as a solo dancer two years later. The Australian Gordon Hamilton appeared for many years as Zlochas' choreographer ; their relationship is described as unique. In the course of her career as a professional dancer, which lasted around three decades, she participated in countless performances at the Vienna State Opera and was also involved in numerous performances at the Salzburg and Bregenz Festivals . Furthermore, she took part in a number of tours abroad before she retired from the stage in 1982, now at the age of 43.

Today (as of 2019) Zlocha lives in an apartment in Sievering , a district of the 19th district of Vienna Döbling .
