Erina Yamane ( Japanese 山根 恵 里 奈 , Yamane Erina ; born December 20, 1990 in Hiroshima ) is a Japanese soccer goalkeeper .

Career

societies

Yamane played from 2009 to 2011 at Tepco Mareeze , the factory club of the energy supply company Tepco . After the Fukushima nuclear disaster , Tepco Mareeze retired from the game and Yamane moved to the women's division of the first division club JEF United Ichihara Chiba .

National team

Yamane played until 2010 in the Japanese U-20 national team and took part with this in the U-20 World Championships in 2008 and 2010 , where she ran up in a total of four games. On January 15, 2010, she made her debut against Chile in the Japanese senior team , in whose squad she was appointed in preparation for the 2012 Olympic Games . In 2014 she won the Asian soccer championship for the first time with Japan , with which Japan qualified for the 2015 World Cup. She was also part of the Japanese squad for the 2015 World Cup in Canada and is 1.87 m tall, next to Wendie Renard (France), the tallest player at the World Cup. Yamane had played the fewest internationals of the three Japanese goalkeepers, but was used in the first group game against Switzerland . Although she did not concede a goal, she was not set up from the second group match against Cameroon .
