The Ermakbukta ( Norwegian for Russian Бухта Ермак Buchta Jermak , German 'Jermakbucht' ) is a bay on the Crown Prince Olav coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It lies west of the Shinnan Glacier and Shinnan Rocks .
Russian scientists named it after the icebreaker Yermak . Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute translated this name into Norwegian in 1991.
