Ernest Maragall i Noble (born November 3, 1903 in Barcelona , † 1991 in Caracas ) was a Catalan sculptor . He was the son of the Catalan poet Joan Maragall and his wife Clara, b. Noble.

In the course of the Spanish Civil War , he emigrated with his family to Venezuela . Most of his works were also created there. For the Catalan city of Lloret de Mar , he created the sculpture Dona Marinera (fisherman's wife) in 1969 , which is now widely regarded as the town's landmark .
