Ernesto Maria Fiore

Ernesto Maria Fiore (born July 2, 1918 in Troina , Enna Province , Italy ; † October 30, 2001 ) was a Curia Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Church .

Life

Ernesto Maria Fiore received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Nicosia on June 7, 1941 . On January 30, 1957 he became Defensor Vinculi at the Roman Rota and on June 23, 1960 Auditor- Prelate.

On June 6, 1985 he ordered Pope John Paul II. To the dean of the Roman Rota and on 16 December 1991 in addition to the titular archbishop of Novi . Pope John Paul II donated him episcopal ordination on January 6, 1992 ; Co-consecrators were the official of the Vatican State Secretariat , Archbishop of the Curia Giovanni Battista Re , and the Secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples , Archbishop of the Curia Josip Uhač .

On July 2, 1993, John Paul II accepted Ernesto Maria Fiore's motion to resign from the office of Dean of the Roman Rota.
