Ernst-Aleksander Joll or Ernst Joll , pseudonym Jaan Kägu (born September 16, 1902 in Tallinn , Estonia Governorate ; † April 3, 1935 ibid) was an Estonian football player and journalist . With the Estonian national soccer team he took part in the 1924 Summer Olympics in Paris .
Career
Soccer player
Ernst-Aleksander Joll began his footballing career at the age of 18 with JK Tallinna Kalev , with whom he won the Estonian championship for the first time in his career in 1923 . Later he should be active for the Tallinna Jalgpalliklubi , where he moved in 1926 and celebrated two more championship titles in 1926 and 1928 .
In October 1920 Ernst-Aleksander Joll made his debut in the Estonian national team against Finland . Four years later, he took part in the Summer Olympics in Paris with the selection of Estonia . The last of a total of 23 international matches, in which he was able to score a total of 4 goals, he completed in August 1929 against Finland in Helsinki .

From 1920 Joll worked as a sports journalist for Rahvaleht (Volksblatt) and Eesti Päevaleht (Tageblatt).
death
Ernst Aleksander Joll died in 1935 at the age of 32 years to typhoid . He was buried in the Rahumäe cemetery in his hometown of Tallinn.
