Ernst-Dieter Suttheimer
Ernst-Dieter Suttheimer (born October 19, 1941 in Lorsch ) is a German opera singer ( tenor ).
Life
Suttheimer studied at the Hochschule für Musik in Darmstadt until 1963 , before joining the Oldenburg State Theater as Germany's youngest tenor in the same year . From 1977 to 1990 he had engagements at the Graz Opera House , since then he has been a member of the ensemble of the Volksoper in Vienna . Since 1984 Suttheimer has been teaching as a professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz . From 1991 to 2002 he also worked at the Vienna State Opera . He holds the honorary title of chamber singer .
