Ernst-Paul Hasselbach

Ernst-Paul Hasselbach (born May 23, 1966 in Paramaribo , † October 11, 2008 in Lom , Norway ) was a Dutch television presenter and TV producer for Dutch and Belgian television.

Life

Hasselbach was born the son of a Dutchman and a Surinamese mother. His childhood was marked by many moves. He completed his school education in Vancouver , after which he began studying sports and English in Amsterdam . Hasselbach was the producer and presenter of Expeditie Robinson , the Belgian-Dutch version of Survivor , from 2000 until his death . He was also the 2004 presenter for Peking Express . He was with Gracia, the daughter of talk show presenter Paul Witteman , married.

Hasselbach died together with a production employee during the filming of the TV show 71 ° Noord as a result of a traffic accident in Norway . The production company has placed a memorial stone at the accident site .
