71 ° Nord is a reality format that was adopted and broadcast first in Norway and then in some other countries.

Content and charisma

In this reality show, the teams set up beforehand have to get to the 71st parallel and solve various tasks along the way. The format was first broadcast by TVNorge in Norway in 1999. TVNorge produced several episodes of the adventure format every year. The television series has been broadcast in Belgium since 2006 and in the Netherlands since 2008 . From 2010 the show was also produced and broadcast for the United Kingdom by the English TV broadcaster ITV . On September 11, 2010, the first ten-part season started in the United Kingdom. Initially, Mazda sponsored Continental the English format. The producer there is Fever Media .
