Ernst Böhme (* 1956 ) is a German historian , archivist , museum director and author.

Until the beginning of 2020 he was head of the city ​​archive and the city ​​museum in Göttingen .

From 1987 to 1997 he was deputy archive manager at the state archive in Bückeburg . From 2001 to 2007 he was 1st chairman of the Working Group of Lower Saxony Municipal Archivists, eV
