The Embassy of Sierra Leone in Berlin ( English Embassy of the Republic of Sierra Leone in the Federal Republic of Germany ) is the diplomatic representation of Sierra Leone in Germany . It is based at Herwarthstrasse 4 in the Berlin district of Lichterfelde in the Steglitz-Zehlendorf district .
The embassy , founded on September 25, 1969, has jurisdiction over the Holy See , the Netherlands , Luxembourg and France .
Embassy building
The embassy building in Berlin was built in 1914–1915 by the construction company Julius Assmann for the textile merchant Karl Schäfer according to plans by Ernstügel . It is on the Berlin State Monument List .
Until at least 2009, the Sierra Leone embassy was located at Rheinallee 20 in Bonn's Godesberg villa district .
