The South Sudanese Embassy in Berlin is the diplomatic representation of South Sudan in Germany . The embassy building is located in the residential / commercial building Leipziger Platz 8 in Berlin district center of the district of the same .
history
South Sudan is the youngest independent state on the African continent. South Sudan has been independent from Sudan since 2011 . In August 2012, the embassy was opened on Leipziger Platz in Berlin-Mitte.
Building history
Between 2001 and 2003 the architects Hilmer & Sattler und Albrecht designed a narrow office and commercial building on the southern side of Leipziger Platz (Oktogon). In addition to the South Sudanese embassy, the residence of the Greek ambassador and the German branch of the Bank of China are also located in the building .

The building is a modern residential and commercial building. The South Sudanese embassy is on the third floor.
