The Liechtenstein Embassy in Berlin is the diplomatic representation of the Principality of Liechtenstein for the Federal Republic of Germany in its capital Berlin . Isabel Frommelt-Gottschald is the current ambassador of the Principality of Liechtenstein in Berlin .

The embassy is located at Mohrenstrasse 42 in the Mitte part of the district of the same name , where Liechtenstein shares a building with the Chilean and Peruvian embassies. The Liechtenstein embassy in Berlin also reports to two Liechtenstein honorary consulates in Frankfurt am Main and Munich .

history

Due to the important economic ties between Liechtenstein and Germany, diplomatic relations between the two states have always been very intensive. A non-resident ambassador has represented the Principality of Liechtenstein in Germany since 1999. This task was initially taken over by the head of the Office for Foreign Affairs, Roland Marxer . From 2002, Josef Wolf was the first resident ambassador to be sent to Berlin by the government of the Principality of Liechtenstein . Prince Stefan von und zu Liechtenstein has held this ambassadorial office since March 23, 2007 . Isabel Frommelt-Gottschald has been an ambassador since July 10, 2017.
