The Venezuelan Embassy in Berlin is the diplomatic representation of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the Federal Republic of Germany . Ambassador is Navy General Orlando Maniglia Ferreira .

Embassy building

The headquarters of the embassy is in the Berlin district of Tiergarten ( Mitte district ) at Schillstrasse 9/10 at the corner of Wichmannstrasse .

In the course of the political crisis in Venezuela from 2018 attacks on the embassy were feared and the police increased security measures. Cultural events have been canceled. In addition to registered protests in front of the embassy, ​​photos and names of representatives of the embassy were published on the Internet.

Around 700 Venezuelan citizens are registered in the Federal Republic of Germany; in addition, many unregistered Venezuelans live in Germany.
