Ernst Begemann

Ernst Begemann (* December 4, 1927 - December 6, 2014 ) was a professor for special education at the University of Koblenz-Landau .

Life

Ernst Begemann trained as a primary school teacher in Detmold from 1947 to 1949, and then as a special school teacher in Berlin. From 1950 to 1965 he was a teacher and headmaster at elementary, special and home schools in East Westphalia and West Berlin. From 1965 to 1969 he was an assistant at the PH Ruhr. From 1969 to 1971 he worked as a lecturer and professor at the PH Reutlingen. From 1971 he worked at the Institute for Special Education at the RLP Educational Science University in Mainz . The Institute for Special Education was assigned to the University of Mainz in 1985 and to the University of Koblenz-Landau in Landau in the Palatinate in 1993relocated. He was the head of several federal and state-sponsored school trials to promote the severely physically handicapped, to obtain a secondary school leaving certificate for the learning disabled, and for internal differentiation in schools for the learning disabled.
