Ernst Conrad Sedlmayr
Ernst Conrad Sedlmayr (born May 18, 1868 in Siegendorf ( Burgenland ), † June 6, 1939 in Vienna ) was an Austrian agricultural economist.
Life
Sedlmayr, son of a sugar factory director, studied at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna and worked in agricultural practice for many years, at times as goods director in Hungary . From 1907 to 1936 he worked as a professor for agricultural management at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna. He was considered to be one of the best experts on agricultural conditions in Austria-Hungary .
Awards
- In 1917 he was appointed councilor.
- In 1929 he received an honorary doctorate from the Agricultural University in Berlin .
