Ernst Eduard Ludwig Wedel

Ernst Eduard Ludwig Wedel (also Ernestus Eduardus Ludovicus Wedel , born March 5, 1804 in Jena ; † January 5, 1877 there ) was a physician and general practitioner in Jena from the Grand Ducal Saxon .

Life

Ernst Eduard Ludwig Wedel attended the Wilhelm Ernst Gymnasium in Weimar from 1817 and studied medicine at the University of Jena from 1824 . On November 19, 1830 he received his doctorate under Johann Christian Stark .

Wedel then worked as a general practitioner in Jena. Later he was appointed to the Grand Ducal Saxon personal physician and was most recently the secret medical advisor .

On August 15, 1858, he was registered under the registration number. Elected member of the Leopoldina in 1892 with the academic surname Peter Frank II .
