Ernst Emil Kurt Graf von Reventlow (born November 18, 1868 in Wittenberg, today part of Martensrade ; † January 12, 1933 there ) was a count , lord of the manor on Wittenberg, monastery provost of Uetersen and politician.

Life

He was a member of the influential Holstein-Mecklenburg noble family von Reventlow . Detlev Graf Reventlow was his brother. On August 7, 1912, he was elected as the successor of Otto von Moltke as the monastery provost of the Uetersen monastery . During his tenure in 1913, the monastery parted from a large part of the property. The proceeds went into the repair work of the now listed conventual interior houses, later he felt compelled to sell the entire monastic property in Horst in order to preserve the Propsteig building and to save the monastery from financial ruin. He resigned from the office of the monastery provost in 1920 and was succeeded by Friedrich Eduard von Buchwaldt .
