Ernst Ewald Kunckel

Ernst Ewald Kunckel (born July 23, 1902 in Schwerin ; † November 13, 1970 ) was a German civil servant during the National Socialist era and a publicist.

Life

After attending school, Kunckel studied political science and later law . He received his doctorate in both subjects, so that he was named Dr. Dr. (Dr. rer. Pol. Et Dr. jur.). He presented his first dissertation , which dealt with the importance of Reval as a Russian trading port, in Berlin in 1924 and his second, an investigation into arbitration in reparations law, in 1931.

From 1933 Kunckle was Councilor in the press office of the Prussian State Ministry and also as deputy Martin Sommerfeldt her deputy head. In this capacity he published a book on Hermann Göring and the Prussian State Council . He later worked as a senior councilor in the Reich Ministry of the Interior . 1938 and 1945 officiated Kunckle, who is also a member of the NSDAP ( member number 2826474) and the SS (membership number 212156) was as district administrator of the district Altenkirchen .

In the post-war period, Kunckel emerged as managing director of the Arbeitsring Abroad for Cultural Tasks eV. Furthermore, from 1956 until his death he was a member of the management of the German Industry Institute (as representative of the Federation of German Industry) and of the German Industry Verlag GmbH in Cologne.
