Ernst Fritzsche (politician)

Ernst Friedrich Otto Fritzsche (born April 29, 1892 in Lutherstadt Eisleben , † after 1933) was a German teacher and politician ( DNVP ).

Life

Fritzsche attended the teachers' seminar in Eisleben from 1906 to 1912 , then became a teacher at the one-class school in Wormsleben and passed the second teacher examination in 1914. He took part in the First World War as a soldier from 1914 to 1918 and was deployed on the Western Front. From 1914 to 1915 he served with Infantry Regiment No. 27 , from 1915 to 1916 with Reserve Infantry Regiment No. 66 and from 1917 to 1918 with Infantry Regiment No. 469 , most recently as a reserve lieutenant and company commander. Shortly before the end of the war, he suffered an injury, as a result of which his left thigh had to be amputated. For his services he received the Iron Cross 1st and 2nd class as well as the wound badge in matt white.

Fritzsche joined the DNVP, became community leader in Wormsleben in 1924 and had been a member of the Mansfeld Seekreis district council since 1925 . As a member of the Stahlhelm , he was Gauführer in Mansfeld from 1925 . In 1928 he was elected to the Prussian state parliament, to which he belonged until its dissolution in October 1933.
