Ernst Hasselbach
Ernst Georg von Hasselbach (born November 26, 1905 in Strasbourg ; † after 1959) was a German actor , screenwriter and film producer .
Life
Hasselbach worked as an actor and director at the theater from 1933 before he switched to Bavaria Film in Munich as screenwriter and chief dramaturge . In 1941 he took on the same function at Terra Filmkunst in Berlin. After the Second World War, Hasselbach was initially licensed by Studio 45 Film-GmbH and later by Cordial-Film GmbH.
As a screenwriter , he wrote the templates for films such as Arthur Maria Rabenalt's Nights on the Nile with Sonja Ziemann in the leading role, the Lessing film adaptation of Das Fräulein von Barnhelm with Käthe Gold in the title role, and the crime film Our Wonderland at Night . Hasselbach also worked several times under the pseudonym EG von Rhodde . In 1953 he was also responsible as a producer for the drama Have sun in my heart .
