Ernst Kleinhempel (born October 14, 1862 in Bermsgrün , † May 26, 1934 in Wilkau-Haßlau ; full name: Ernst Ottomar Kleinhempel ) was a German administrative officer and national liberal politician . He was a member of the Saxon state parliament .

After attending elementary school in Bermsgrün, Kleinhempel completed an apprenticeship at the fire insurance offices in Schwarzenberg and Chemnitz . He also attended a vocational training school. After completing his military service, he took up a position in the Chemnitz administration . In April 1886 he became registrar for the city council of Eibenstock and at the same time registrar . From 1890 he was the councilor of Wilkau , where the council elected him unanimously to this position for life in 1898. At times he administered the neighboring community of Niederhaßlauinterim with. In July 1928 he retired for health reasons.

Kleinhempel was a member of the Chamber Council and a member of the National Liberal Party . As a representative of the 41st rural constituency, he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Saxon State Parliament from 1907 to 1918 . During this time he was managing director of the National Liberal Group and from 1915 acted as the chamber's secretary with equal rights.
