Ernst Landolt

Ernst Landolt (born July 26, 1953 in Näfels ; entitled to live there ) is a Swiss politician ( SVP ).

biography

He grew up in Näfels in the canton of Glarus and completed an agricultural training course in Zurich and in French-speaking Switzerland from 1973 to 1976 . From 1976 to 1980 he studied agriculture at the Swiss University of Agriculture in Zollikofen .

From 1993 to 2003 Landolt was on the local council of Rüdlingen . Since January 1, 2011, he has been a member of the government council of the canton of Schaffhausen and heads the Department of Economic Affairs .

In March 2020 he announced that he would step down as a member of the government on December 31, 2020.

Landolt is married and has 3 children.
