Ernst Ludolf Meyer (born October 16, 1848 in Hanover , † November 5, 1922 in Munich ) was a German painter.

Ernst Ludolf Meyer was born in 1848 in the royal seat of the Kingdom of Hanover . After studying in Nuremberg at the then applied arts school , he studied from 1871 in Munich at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts under Carl von Piloty .

After completing his studies, Ernst Ludolf Meyer kept his center of life in Munich, where he created numerous popular genre paintings . The painter was buried in the Munich forest cemetery.
