Ernst Rudolf Vogenauer
Ernst Rudolf Vogenauer (born April 24, 1897 in Munich , † August 18, 1969 in Berlin ) was a German graphic artist, illustrator and painter.
life and work
From 1946 to 1962 Vogenauer was a lecturer at the Berlin-Weißensee School of Art . He maintained friendly relations there and a. to Kurt Robbel .
As a graphic artist, Vogenauer also designed postage stamps for the Reichspost and Deutsche Post of the GDR , including the first airmail postage stamp for the German Democratic Republic . First edition: December 13, 1957
