Ernst Arno Schädlich (born June 30, 1884 in Auerbach / Vogtl. , † January 15, 1949 in Celle ) was a German politician (SPD).

Live and act

After attending primary school in Auerbach, Mittweida and Hanover, Schädlich learned the lithography trade . Until 1914 he worked in his profession in Breslau , Dresden , Mannheim and Hanover. He then took over the office of workers secretary of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) in Celle, where he also worked for the daily press of his party.

In December 1918 Schadenlich became a member of the Congress of Workers 'and Soldiers' Councils in Germany . He then sat from January 1919 to June 1920 as a member of the Weimar National Assembly .

After Schadlich had belonged to the magistrate of Celle from 1919 to 1933, he was removed from this post by the National Socialists. He withdrew into private life for the remainder of the Nazi regime. After the Second World War, in 1946 he became Deputy City Director in Celle.
