Ernst Schmadel

Ernst Schmadel (born March 27, 1938 in Laubach ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and former member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

Ernst Schmadel graduated from the Theo Koch School in Grünberg (Gießen district) in 1958 and studied in Marburg an der Lahn from 1958 to 1964 . In 1964 he passed his first state examination and was from 1964 to 1965 as a scholarship holder at the Europa-Kolleg in Bruges (Belgium), where he graduated with the “Certificat des Hautes Etudes Europeennes”. 1965 to 1967 followed the trainee training and then the activity as a teacher at the old state school in Korbach.

Ernst Schmadel was chairman of the Young Socialists from 1970 to 1972 and since 1970 sub-district chairman of the SPD in Waldeck, a member of the North Hessian district committee and the state committee of the SPD. At the same time he was a member of the GEW , the Europa-Union and the Arbeiterwohlfahrt .

From 1968 to 1972 he was a city councilor in Korbach and from 1972 to 1973 a member of the district council of the Waldeck district. From March 5, 1974 to November 30, 1974 he was a member of the Hessian state parliament.
