Ernst Schrader (writer)

Ernst Schrader (also: Ernst Theodor Ferdinand Schrader; born September 18, 1852 in Brandenburg an der Havel , † April 25, 1911 in Hanover ) was a German teacher and writer .

Life

Ernst Schrader was born as the son of the Secret Upper Government Council and curator of the University of Halle Wilhelm Schrader . He attended the Friedrichs-Kollegium zu Königsberg in Prussia and then studied chemistry, physics and mathematics in Berlin and Königsberg from Michaelis 1871 to Michaelis 1875. At the philosophical faculty of the University of Königsberg he was finally awarded a Dr. phil. PhD. As a result, he initially occupied himself with chemical studies for a year and a half before working in chemical practice for two years. In December 1880 he passed his teaching qualification examination with the qualification as a senior teacher, then completed his probationary year at the Royal High School in Insterburg and was appointed to a full teaching position there in October 1881.

In the fall of 1892, Schrader was transferred to the Kaiser Wilhelms-Gymnasium in Hanover as a senior teacher , worked there for 18 years, and finally retired with the title of professor in 1910 or on April 1, 1911. But he died only a few weeks later.
