Ernst Uebel
Ernst Robert Uebel (born June 9, 1882 in Klingenthal / Sa. , † November 11, 1959 ibid) was a German composer and musician .
Ernst Uebel trained in instrument making and then devoted himself entirely to his training as a master student at the Klingenthaler Stadtmusikschule. Here he later worked as a teacher for wind and string instruments and also directed the Klingenthal City Orchestra. In 1921 he was appointed city music director. In the military music he became famous through his composed in 1926 march Jubelklänge (op. 70), which is today part of the fixed program upscale marching music literature and played over and over again by numerous bands.
