Ernst W. Wies
Ernst Wilhelm Wies (born September 6, 1922 in Cologne ; † April 14, 2012 in Cologne ) was a German historian , publicist and author of historical non-fiction books.
Life
Wies studied history , art and theater history. He achieved a great reputation above all for his biographies of rulers of the Middle Ages . He regularly wrote articles for various history magazines at home and abroad.
