Ernst Werner von Laffert
Ernst Werner von Laffert (born May 25, 1704 ; † 1774 in Lüneburg ) was a Hanoverian officer and regiment owner.
Life
Ernst Werner von Laffert came from the home Lehsen of the noble family of Laffert . In 1739 he served as a lieutenant captain in the infantry regiment of Monroy and in 1747 advanced to major in the regiment of Druchtleben . In 1753 he became lieutenant colonel in the von Hardenberg regiment, and in 1759 colonel and chief of the regiment of lieutenant general von Grote. In January 1761 he was in charge of the Dillenburg provisioning department , where he distinguished himself in particular. In 1762 he was awarded with the character as a major general his board .
