The Ers Ice Stream is an ice stream on the English coast of the Palmerland in the southern part of the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows between the Jensen Nunatakkern and the Gunn Peaks to the George VI Ice Shelf in George VI Sound .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2018. It is named after the ERS-1 and ERS-2 satellites , which were used for remote sensing of the Antarctic.
