Ervinka ( Hebrew ארבינקא) is a 1967 Israeli film directed by Ephraim Kishon .

action

The work-shy Ervinka spends his time poking up on all sorts of people, including his neighbors, the city council, the police and even his friends.

By his own name he is a clown, but has no permanent position. That's why he uses a lot of tricks to pull money out of people's pockets. The main expense is the purchase of lottery tickets, by means of which he wants to win the main prize of 50,000 Israeli pounds. He achieves this goal with the help of the police, who believe Ervinka is only making one film.

In all of his pranks, he always meets the policewoman Ruti, with whom he falls in love. In the end, she confesses her love to him and moves him to bring the money back and stop his pranks.

Reviews

“The film, which its author Kishon directs himself and is quite homely, remains without any satirical bite on the level of undemanding entertainment. Meanwhile, some really funny scenes about Israel's comedian No. 1, Chaim Topol, succeed. "

“Harmless and undemanding entertainment, which however should overwhelm six-year-olds. Enjoyable to see from around 12. "
