Erwin Ortner Prize
The Erwin Ortner Prize for the Promotion of Choral Music (“Prize of the Erwin Ortner Fund for the Promotion of Choral Music”) has been awarded annually since 1988 to outstanding young choir directors and composers. The prize is named after Erwin Ortner (* 1947) and is currently endowed with 3,000 euros. The fund is financed exclusively from private donations.
