Erwin Berger

Erwin Berger (born August 2, 1935 in Oberadersbach , Austria ; † March 16, 2003 ) was a German laboratory technician and trade unionist.

Berger attended elementary school and grammar school and left them with secondary school leaving certificate. After training, he worked as a laboratory assistant in Burghausen . From 1958 he worked full-time for the food-pleasure-restaurants union : first he was managing director in Passau , then clerk in Munich and from 1982 regional chairman for Bavaria, he was also a member of the main board. He was also a member of the regional board of the DGB and the supervisory boards of Allgäuer Alpenmilch AG , Deutsche Kraft GmbH and Südzucker AG as well as the Bavarian Senate . He was a member of the Senate from 1984 until its dissolution in 1999. He was awarded the Bavarian Order of Merit on July 4, 1991.
